Privacy policy

This policy covers the Pinfall app for iPhone and iPad and this website, pinfall.ihsanfir.dev. Both are made by Ihsan Firdaus, an independent developer (“we”, “us”). In short: Pinfall has no account, no ads, no analytics tools and no tracking, and your games never reach us.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter in Pinfall stays with you: your games and every ball in them, sessions, leagues, your ball arsenal, notes, and your settings. It is stored on your device. Pinfall has no servers of its own and never sends this data to us.

If iCloud is on for Pinfall (Sync with iCloud in the app’s Settings), the same data is also kept in your own private iCloud database, run by Apple under your Apple Account, so a new iPhone or iPad gets your games back. Only you can read a private database; we cannot see, read or recover it. You can turn sync off in the app’s Settings, delete games in the app (they stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days), or remove Pinfall’s iCloud data in your device’s iCloud settings.

When you export a CSV or a PDF season sheet, the file goes wherever you choose in the share sheet. We never receive it.

Purchases

Pinfall is unlocked with Pinfall Lifetime, a one-time purchase, or Pinfall Monthly, an auto-renewing subscription, both sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and holds your billing details; we never see them.

To check that a purchase is valid and unlock the app, Pinfall uses RevenueCat, a purchase-validation service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID, your App Store purchase and transaction data (which product, when, whether a subscription is active), and basic technical details such as the app version and the iOS version. It does not receive your name, your email address, your Apple Account or your games. Pinfall never signs you in to RevenueCat and never links this data to you. We see these records only as anonymous totals in RevenueCat’s dashboard (purchases, renewals, cancellations), which tell us how the app sells; they never show who you are. RevenueCat’s handling is described in its privacy policy. It is the only third party that receives any data from the app.

This is why Pinfall’s App Store privacy label lists only Purchases (purchase history), used for app functionality and analytics, not linked to you, and not used to track you.

What we do not collect

• No account or sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
• No analytics or tracking SDKs, and no advertising or advertising identifiers.
• No crash reporting of our own. Diagnostics reach us only if you choose to share them with Apple and Apple passes them on.
• No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. The app does not ask for them.
• The sounds for doubles, turkeys and clean games play on your device; nothing about them leaves it.

This website

pinfall.ihsanfir.dev is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds nothing from advertising networks. If you pick a language from the menu, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage; it is never sent to us. Its fonts and pictures are served from this site; nothing loads from another site. The hosting provider may keep ordinary server logs (such as the IP address and the page requested) for security and operations, as any web host does. We do not use them to identify you.

Children

Pinfall is rated 4+ and collects no personal data from anyone, children included. There is no account to create and no way to contact other users.

Your rights

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. Your games are already under your control, on your device and in your iCloud. Purchase records are held by Apple and, anonymously, by RevenueCat. If you believe we hold something anyway, write to us and we will look.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date. A change that meant the app started collecting more data would also change the App Store privacy label.
