Questions bowlers ask
Help and contactDoes Pinfall need an account or a signal at the lanes?
No. There is no account and no sign-in. Every ball is saved on your phone the moment you tap it, so a centre with no signal changes nothing, and your games are backed up to your own iCloud when you are signed in.
How much does it cost?
There are two ways to unlock the same app: Lifetime, one purchase, or Monthly, a subscription you can cancel anytime. Both include every feature. There are no ads and no free tier. The App Store shows the price in your currency.
Does it work out my league handicap and 9-pin no-tap games?
Yes. You set the handicap basis and percentage per league, and Pinfall works it out as (basis − average) × percentage, rounded down, never below 0. In a 9-pin no-tap league nine pins on the first ball score as a strike, and those games stay out of your regular average unless you include them.
What if the monitor over the lanes shows a different score?
Pinfall never overrides what you typed. Tap any earlier frame in the score strip to fix it, and the totals update.
Can I keep my games if I change phones or stop paying?
Yes. A new iPhone or iPad gets your games back from your iCloud. You can export every ball as CSV and a one-page PDF season sheet at any time, and if a monthly plan ends, every game is still there and the plan screen still offers the CSV export.
Which devices and languages does it support?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later. The app is in English, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Italian, Swedish, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish.
